This delicious Chow Chow recipe has been a part  of the Bell family farm in Ridge Spring (Aiken County), South Carolina, for more than 75 years.

Our Grandmother, Albina Bell, taught our Mother, Annie Mae Paige Bell, how to make it using fresh vegetables from our garden. The cabbages, tomatoes, onions, and peppers were hand-chopped to the right consistency, cooked patiently, and flavored with love. This process continued until 2012 when Mother received a food processor.
